"Protecting Cheyenne" is book five in the Seal of Protection series for Susan Stoker, and it did not disappoint. This time, Cheyenne, a 911 operator, is grocery shopping during a robbery at a store where she's taking hostage. Dude, a Navy Seal, is called in as an explosives expert. Cheyenne volunteers to have the bomb strapped to her body in order to save the other hostages because she feels that she has no one that needs her or wants her.
This is very typical of this series to have a very hot alpha Navy Seal to come in and rescue the female who is trapped in a dangerous situation. I love hero stories and this one did not disappoint me! The females always seem to be a little less than perfect, but yet perfect for the hero in the story. If you like these types of stories then I highly recommend this series!
