A Curse of Wings by Kara LegendMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
"A Curse of Wings" is what appears to be a promising start to a series that began in 2014, unfortunately it appears the author has written no more in the series which saddens me. I don't remember how I got my ebook, but I am assuming I got it from the author at some point.
Bliss was taken in by her now "Uncle" Darl after her parents were either taken or killed at age 10. He runs the trade between the "Fehin" which is the Demon possessed human bodies that live in the forests. She's sent alone to make a trade of Christmas ornaments with them and things go south quickly, to the point that she has to run for her life. Somehow a mysterious stranger shows up and saves her, but he holds many secrets about who he is and even holds the key to her past, which she has forgotten.
I hope the author releases a book two soon and is not another great author who disappears into the nether.
