OMG "Catalyst"!!! This is such a dark read and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the story itself. It's complicated and twisted in it's perfection.
When Tinsley's boyfriend is murdered in her bars storeroom she struggles to move on to a new future, when he was her future and all she ever wanted. Soon after Liam's death his father sells the home and kicks her out, but the home happens to get bought by a former college classmate of hers. He's obviously interested in her, and she eventually realizes that Liam will never be coming back she gives in to the attraction. She gets weirded out when she starts receiving texts from Liam's phone, is he sending them from the grave or is someone playing a cruel joke?
I was shocked where this story line went and didn't see it coming until I was deep in to it. "Catalyst" does have triggers for anyone who may have been abducted or raped, and it might be better to pass over the book if those things affect you. There is a great conclusion to this twisted tale, but you have to go through some hell before you get there.
