"Ivan" by Roxie Rivera is book one in the Her Russian Protector series. Erin goes to a dangerous Russian MMA gym owner in hopes that he can help her locate her missing drug addict sister. When Ivan meets Erin he can't help but be attracted to her and even though he knows how dangerous his involvement can be, he decides to help. What Erin doesn't realize until it's too late, is that Ruby is in deep with two rival gangs with no visible way out thanks to her loser boyfriend . Will Erin and Ivan be able to save Ruby or will they end up in worse trouble than they started with ? Can Erin resist the charms of this dangerous man or will she also be pulled to the seedy side of Houston?
I really liked this story and it's characters and look forward to reading the next books in the series,which deal with Ivan's best friends from childhood Dimitri, Yuri, Nikolai, and Sergei.
